Ben Carson is a serious problem in our community. Sure, he was perhaps at one time Ben Carson, M.D., an inspiration to minorities everywhere for his superior achievements in the medical field but today Ben Carson is an asshole. The Detroit native rose to incredible heights largely from living the Black mantra twice as good for half as much. He is a self-professed gangster that took his chances according to his most recent accounts but the crowd that he is probably betraying the most recognize him from his autobiography, Gifted Hands.
Ben Carson, M.D. was a gifted neurosurgeon before he retired and entered politics.
Or maybe you read Think Big: Unleashing Your Potential for Excellence, or perhaps Take The Risk: Learning To Identify, Choose, And Live With Acceptable Risk? None of that matters now, and we should all be offended that he tried to pimp his fame.
Ben Carson is supposed to be the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development now. Ben Carson, M.D. knows about conjoined twins and a host of neurological medical diseases that can afflict us but Ben Carson doesn’t know shit about Housing and Urban Development. Ben Carson is obviously unqualified but he is in a position to do serious damage to the majority of the population of the United States of America. Most people live in and around cities that should qualify as urban enough to warrant some type of development or support from their government. It is almost like someone wanted to punish the most populous cities in America because they overwhelming voted in a certain favor. The real question is how or why did this man get this job? Or perhaps if he is supposed to be so smart, why didn’t he avoid all association with what is increasingly appearing to be a criminal and illegitimate administration? You know greed is a factor because Paul Manafort was the first to be identified largely through his amassing a fortune amidst, or exploiting, a political dysfunction.
Ben Carson is destructive and dangerous because he is looking more and more like the sort of person that would do anything for more spoils in this world, a pig wrestling in slop. He can obviously outwork anybody in some of the most difficult subject matter, so what other angles could Ben Carson really be playing now? As the chinks in the armor of the Trump presidency continue to fall, we don’t expect that Ben Carson will be among those cast down in a cell -or even placed in a polite house arrest. There is a greater likelihood that he will still be strewn by the wayside of history, forever damaged, and so there has to be a reward for Ben Carson to balance against that we are missing.
The debacle that has been his tenure in office, so far, is barely advancing his political career but it isn’t directly making him money like Secretary of Energy Rick Perry or Environmental Protection Agency Chief Scott Pruitt, respectively. Ben Carson has never been elected to any political office and Rick Perry can at least claim a Governorship -although they both failed in bids to win the presidency. Scott Pruitt is working in an agency that has presented him with a clear conflict of interest, but Ben Carson isn’t going to be able to draw a check from any of the policies that he is enacting today.

We have heard the whispers of people that like to pull strings also reward their minions after arduous assignments. But what of that agenda? If Ben Carson is merely being used then it undermines us that much more. The great problem with that Black mantra of twice as good for half as much is that it is bullshit. Ben Carson had to go to work as a lab assistant through high school, score in the 90 percentile on standardized tests, graduate medical and separate conjoined twins just to get noticed enough to be used is one of the most depressing things to comprehend.
Steve Harvey, Omarosa Manigault-Newman, and David Clarke wormed and nosed their way into the President’s favor only to find themselves as pawns. Ben Carson needed extraordinary superlatives to arrive at pretty much the same conclusion. We already knew that there was no honor amongst thieves but there really aren’t any Black people with access to feed at the trough, either. It must really suck to find out that you made a deal with the devil and he didn’t even offer anything that wasn’t already out of your means. At least the shadier sycophants tried to upgrade, but Ben Carson only proved that he has a wokeness level expressed as a negative number.
Ben Carson could be the latest example of how easily a person can be used to advance an unjust political agenda and he just looks completely unaware. Every time you see Ben Carson now, he’s squinting like he just blew an ounce taking a loss. He has no redeeming qualities that are serving him well in his current endeavor and his crazy genius plays like a dumbass on the small screen. The omniscient Mr. Fix-it role is poor mimicry and should ring alarm bells for even the most casual observer of the recent politic. The coverage that Ben Carson is getting is rightfully left out of the more important news cycles but he still needs to GTFOHWTBS.
Ben Carson could have just looked stupid at home. He didn’t have to come all the way out of his comfort zone for this, and he is tarnishing the image of hard work. Like the marathon runner that doesn’t finish the race, you don’t need any training to get these kinds of results. We here at The Chronicles of Six believe that we have to let some of these tired mantras and outdated notions of political leadership go. We can’t afford to wallow in intelligence nostalgia. We don’t need know-it-alls like Ben Carson, anymore.
One would think that a savant would be the first to figure out that the smartest move is to resign as soon as possible and then retreat into the shadows, by this time.
