A Word About Flowers… (To my students.)

As a teacher it is my job to confess when I am wrong, rather than continue to espouse and further the cause of some misinformation.  I write to you today in this same regard for the advancement of Truth.

I once told all of you "Do not pick the flowers."

Let it be known that I picked no flowers when the Sun had it’s day in my season and it is one of my greatest brain-teasers to imagine what could have been.  Respect life, but risk.  Don’t regret your opportunity while it stares you in the face. Gather a rosebud if it appeals to your fancy or imagination, especially if it will keep you well grounded.
